Lisa graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Law and Accounting. After graduating, she spent several years working in the Human Resources Department of the Belfast Office of BDO Stoy Hayward and subsequently The Electoral Office of Northern Ireland. She returned to Queen's in 2004, to train as a Solicitor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Since qualifying, she has worked mainly in the area of Employment Law and until recently worked in the Employment Law Department of the Departmental Solicitors Office.
